We live in a world full of such senseless violence. For evidence, look at the history of mankind. As Mahatma Gandhi has once said, "an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind". The barbaric punishment known as death sentence only fuels violence. What's the punishment for that? Kill the judge? Kill the jury? Kill the prosecutor? Kill the society who favors the death penalty? That makes the society guilty for murder. Imagine what it would be like to wait for a death sentence knowing you're not guity, or worse still, getting actually killed. There have been cases where the death penalty has been cancelled because the convicted is found to be innocent when the evidence is examined closer. We send the killers to jail and let them think what they have done for the rest oh their lives. There's actually a lot less criminality in Europe, although we don't use death penalty or any other type of primitive punsihment. That's why death penalty is not a deterrent. When people kill, they're either A) nuts and don't realise what they're doing or B) they realise what they're doing but don't think they're going to get caught. Some people say public execution and death penalty in general would be the solution for these kind of horrible crimes, but that's just not true. The fear that you see in the people eyes.where one wrong word or even a false accusation can land them in jail.įor the record.this guy is a sick piece of crap. I have been to countries that allow torture and allow human rights abuses in the open (not behind closed doors like the Dubya Monarchy) and let me tell you, it is a scary scary thing to see.
