S-and, quite frankly, neither do I, cause the woman’s not owning up to a damn thing. S puts away the gun she carried to answer the door as she and Sarah talk inside a home straight out of an episode of Hoarders, with a whole lotta caged birds crammed in. S answers the door!!! (I know, I know, I can’t stop with the italics and exclamation points- Orphan Black is just an ital-exclam kind of show, y’all.) As we learn yet another person on this show has a hidden agenda, Sarah pulls up to Peckham’s home and Mrs. Scott asks if the clones have a female relative, like a niece or a daughter (When did they have a chance to get Kira’s DNA?) Delphine goes white and says, “You can’t tell Cosima anything.” Scott, being all new and not used to the steady stream of lies, is like, “Umm….okay….” Now you see why Cosima told your ass to get out, Scott?! You’re already hoarding secrets and have no allegiance!īack in rehab, Allison asks Victor to help her with something (very first step of her-she’s starting to grow) and he goes out for a smoke and walks right into… Angie’s car!!!! Apparently he’s gonna get dirt on Allison in exchange for a clean record (Although, call me crazy, but I have a feeling Angie’s not one for keeping her word….). The bottom line: it seems the donor for the stem cell experiment may be related to the clones.
They end up having a heartfelt moment that culminates in them playing very wackadoo one-handed basketball (between her sling and his missing digits, they’ve got one good pair of hands between ‘em).īack at Dyad, Scott shares a discovery with Delphine-it was something scientific, about a lot of sequence matches, but again, I glazed over. It’s a great way to keep Jordan Garavis useful as he’s “been demoted from babysitter to bargaining chip.” Fingers crossed he doesn’t end up in prison!īack at rehab, Allison approaches a Krishna-clad Victor, who’s meditating on the floor of the empty gymnasium. When Fe stops seeing double he asks what’s up and Art basically tells him to roll up his sleeves and get to the detecting. She also tells Sarah that the Cold River Institute was active a lot longer than most people think and warns her that, “What you see here won’t leave you.” Thanks for the info, oddly forthcoming-yet-cold lady!īack at Felix’s house, he comes to from his drunken binge to find Art still in his house, and he’s turned Fe’s sex-cave/art studio into his squad room, lining the walls with photos and bits of evidence. THEN MARK THE PROLETHEAN WALKS IN.īack in the church – the woman shows Sarah to the basement archives, and says she wishes they’d destroyed the lot. He offers her a pork rind, which she Mowglis right up while smiling at him. As he tips his…ahem, trucker hat ever so gallantly and orders himself another, she offers him her white Russian.
Helena, being….you know, Helena, sprains the angry asshole’s pointed finger, and it takes another bar patron, Jesse (the guy from Suits!), to hold him back. He instantly proves this is a lie by taking her rejection very personally, calling her a skank (although, to be fair, she did call him a “bad goat,” but it’s so ridiculous how can it actually be insulting?). Of course, a bar in the middle of winter in the middle of the day is only filled with the cream of the crop, so within seconds, Carl, a greasy biker dude, asks if she wants to hang with them, saying they’re a lot nicer than they look. Helena’s got a bunch of drinks lined up in front of her, as if she googled “drink menu” and she’s gonna try them all.
While Sarah’s earning her Tony award, Helena’s jumped out of the car and gone into the bar across the street because she’s Helena and she doesn’t do cooped up. Being the quick-thinking liar she is, Sarah says she also needs to see the archives, as she’s one of Duncan’s (now going by the name Andrew Peckham) students working on a thesis. Sarah shows her the photo of Duncan and finds out that he’s been there to see the archives. “What’s your interest in it?” she asks (pretty snappish for a church employee). Inside the church, Sarah looks at photos along a wall and a woman affiliated with the church approaches, telling her the place is the Cold River Institute (ka-ching!), which was shut down in the 70s.
(See, she really is a bad mom-never leave your feral twin sister/baby in a car!) Paul pulls up seconds later, again, and watches from a distance. Sarah plans to go in alone and asks Helena to stay in the car-and takes the keys. Back on the road, Sarah and Helena pull up near the church from Ethan Duncan’s photograph.
